Adult Ballet @ St Marys Church Hall
This is a classic ballet class which has been created for adults of any age with or without previous experience of ballet.
There is lots of evidence showing dance to be a wonderful form of exercise for a variety of conditions and for improving your mental well being.
Ballet will improve your balance and posture, strengthen your muscles and maintain or improve bone density as all exercises are weight bearing.

A small friendly group where you will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of art and craft activities, from water colour techniques to felt making and Venician masks. Some members have been practicing art for many years and others (when starting) had not drawn much since they were a child, but have developed their confidence through the group.
You will have the opportunity to exhibit your work in an exhibition for Artwave.

Joy of Movement / holistic dance and movement for health @ Cliffe hall
Joy of Movement blends simple, flowing and easy to follow dance and restorative movement for women of all ages and fitness levels.
A gently guided class to wonderful music encouraging a sensory-based, holistic approach with a focus on breath, body sensation and feeling good. There is no right or wrong way in our classes and it is very permission giving!

Breathe, stretch, move, dance and deeply relax with a guided relaxation meditation to finish.

Well-being and a sense of inner peace and connection to our body is the main aim, though we do get fit in the process.
We are a very friendly and welcoming group who just love to move with no worries of 'getting it right'. Excellent for those who want to get fit in a fun and nourishing way with no pressure.

Learn Latin. Beginners and Revivers or GCSE in a year. @ Priory School
A ten week course on a weekday evening, 6.00-7.00, covering many of the basics.
Can be extended into a second term, or to a third if GCSE is your ambition.
We'll use the Cambridge Latin course (online) but also Richard Taylor's Latin to GCSE - which nicely summarises the grammar.
