Adult Ballet @ St Marys Church Hall
A classic class adapted to allow almost anyone, whatever their age, fitness or previous injury history a chance to enjoy ballet. You don't need any previous experience at all and you don't need ballet shoes, just a pair of thick socks and lots of enthusiasm!

Recent research is showing that dancing improves memory, well being, posture and balance. The classes are all weight bearing which is a recommended way of exercising to reduce your chances of osteoporosis and they are generally low impact which reduces the impact on joints.

Art & Craft for people with disabilities & friends @ Westgate Chapel
A small friendly group where you will have the opportunity to learn about a variety of art and craft activities, from water colour techniques to felt making and Venician masks.

Joy of Movement Classes for women @ Cliffe hall
Keep fit naturally and go at your own pace with gently guided exercise and movement to music. No experience necessary. We are a friendly group of women spanning a wide range of ages and abilities and our sessions are low impact and easy to follow.

Breathe, stretch, move, dance and deeply relax with a guided relaxation meditation to finish.
The music is inspiring and to suit all tastes.
We especially welcome those who haven't moved in a long time, or ever in a class situation as we are a very welcoming group who just love to move with no worries of 'getting it right'.
Excellent for those who want to get fit in a fun and nourishing way with no pressure.

Exploring writing and poetry through mindful awareness, with an emphasis on Nature, celebrating the senses and uncovering the joys and simplicity of the present moment. Using guided meditations and creative exercises to reconnect to the world with inspiration and calmness, we develop a peaceful, enjoyable and contemplative approach to creativity. Mindful Zentangle Drawing Class @ Ringmer
Taught by Certified Zentangle Teacher, this method of drawing is fun, relaxing and easy to learn. Stroke by stroke you draw Zentangle patterns to create beautiful images. Anyone can do it! Twice a month on Thursdays.

Qi Gong @ Southover Church Hall
Qi gong simply means energy or break work, and this class focuses on simple, slow, mindful movements that benefit our physical and mental health.
If you are interested in recovering or maintaining good health and understanding the connection between movement, breath and mind then this class is for you.
This class is open to beginners and those with some experience.
