Adult Ballet @ St Marys Church Hall
You don't need any previous experience at all, just lots of enthusiasm! People enjoy ballet due to improvements in memory, posture and balance as well as the obvious fitness benefits.The classes are all weight bearing which is a recommended way of exercising to reduce your chances of osteoporosis and they are generally low impact.
I am an I.S.T.D qualified ballet teacher with many years of teaching experience who has adapted the classic ballet class to enable anyone, whatever their age, fitness or previous injury history to enjoy the class.

Joy of Movement - Adult Dance & Movement for Health and Well Being. @ Christs Church Hall
Feel rejuvenated and refreshed at our holistic movement classes for women. Get fit naturally and go at your own pace. Includes gentle exercise and mindful movement. No experience of dance or movement necessary. We are a friendly group of ladies of all ages and abilities and our sessions are gently guided, low impact, easy to follow and great for beginners.
Breathe, stretch, move, dance and deeply relax with a guided mindfulness meditation to finish.
The music is diverse and to suit all tastes.
We especially welcome women who haven't moved in a long time, or 'ever' in a class situation as we are a very welcoming group who just love to move with no worries of 'getting it right'.
Excellent for rehabilitation, new mums, older women and those who just want to get fit in a fun and nourishing way!

Qi Gong.

This class is focused on simple gentle meditative movements, designed to create a sense of deep relaxation and nourishment.
There will also be some sitting mediation, and this term we will be exploring the 6 healing sounds that work on regulating the major internal organs.
The gaol of this class is to restore some peace, stillness and vitality. To create a class which helps to repair some of the physical and mental strain we all encounter in our busy modern lives.
