How can you be 'consistent' and 'pragmatic'? Look the meanings of words up rather than using them because you think it sounds smart.

Yep, seems exactly what I thought it meant, so no need to retract my original statement. It is quite possible to be consistent and pragmatic, as well as consistently pragmatic.
