Us the citizens of Lewes need to know what is happening about all this as there has been a lot of posts here on peoples bank accounts being targeted and money has been withdrawn or luckily for some the bank stopped it as apparently the withdrawals are in New York USA so the banks knew their customers were not there !!!
So TESCO what are you doing about this, think a lot of people in Lewes are going to avoid using your services if you do not tell us what is being done and if its safe to use your machines again !!!!!

The police are aware of the matter as a number of people have reported issues (but not half as many who seem want to moan here!). It seems even a couple of police officers have had cards cloned and Tescos have reported the matter to them.

They say that it's very unusual for pay-at-the-pump to have these sorts of problems but are looking through the CCTV recordings anyway. They seemed unaware that wireless technology has recently been used to intercept card details from p-a-t-p machines (see link below).

Sussex Police won't post to the Lewes Forum but have (or will) mention this on Twitter and their Facebook page.
