Has anyone else noticed the pigeons in town lately? I may be wrong, but a few years ago i remember thinking that one of the many things that made Lewes wonderful was the fact that we didn't have pigeons, just doves and seagulls. I first noticed them at the station earlier in the summer, then at Tesco, now up at the prison. Have i got a rose tinted view of our avian past, or are the pigeons new?

Becoming resident due to people throwing bread out for the 'birds', which is great but there is no need in the summer. Barely a need for it in the winter these days.
We should be allowed to shoot the seaugulls.
