In the last few days graffiti has appeared under the causeway bridge, in the passage that leads from Tesco to the Cliffe and on a number of properties around the precinct. It can't be a coincidence that this week Aldi are selling spray paint. I hope the police have the gumption to look at Aldi's CCTV to see whose been buying it.

You have to be sixteen to buy aerosol paints but bizarrely you must not sell solvent based products to anyone under the age of 18 if it is believed that they are likely to be inhaled for the purposes of becoming intoxicated!

You're absolutely right. How irresponsible of Viva Lewes. One has to be so careful these days when no one can actually be held responsible for their own actions !!
Or either that as you said johnnyboy blame Aldi.
I dont think there are any CCTV down the in the Cliffe area for some reason

We can hardly be surprised, seeing that our Olympic symbol looks very like a graffiti tag.

Probably some school kid, and I imagine the same school kid has got the same tags all over their school books and stuff - teachers take note... you might know who it is..
And Old Cynic - yes i agree parts of Lewes do look really dirty at the moment.
