I'd try anything that helps. Different things help different people. A friend had acupuncture and never touched one again. Didn't do a thing for me. I gave up cold turkey, but having done it before and having caved in after 6 years, I now carry nicorette gum all the time, just in case, even though I hate it now and can't stand the smell on others.

yes expat i have noticed the smell on others as i drive a bus and some people stink of smoke when they get on. my sence of small is coming back i also notice people with alcohol on there breath very nasty at 10am but on the good side i can smell flowers in the garden again.
