I can assure you that the school is taking this serious. The school does have a strong anti bullying policy - my son has been bullied 3 times and each time I have been happy with the response the school has taken. I am shocked and upset at what I have read and can only as a parent hope that your child is now safe and happy - as mentioned before bullying goes on in EVERY school. Unfortunately I have heard bad comments re: Southover, and Western Road. What is sad is in all that we are reading we are not praising what Wallands does give - it is a great school but for this incident to happen it saddens me, and hope and pray that it does get sorted in a controlled manner to protect ALL children, and teachers. The teachers don't have the rights they use to. For Mr Davies, I think he is a great Head, and he loves all those children, he knows them all and supports and praises them all, I can assure you he would have done all he could; but unfortunately because the Police were involved thats where he has to stop; it is taken out of his hands. I wish you and your family luck in the future and hope your daughter does not have to go through this ever again - and enjoys her new school. But please, don't trash the name Wallands as there is a lot of good work that does go on to educate our Children.

Hi anonymous, can i just say thank you for you civil response. He thought that 2 minutes of golden time taken away from the child was enough. The same week a little boy was the victim to the same child with marks around his neck, you must see my point why myself and other parents are worried.

Just come back from the pub and guess what the subject of, wallands came up, reading between the lines they are covering their A***'S. Member of staff disgussing about Ofsted being there and how much they are worried. Moaning about the mother who started the complaint and why when her child is no longer at the school does she have to complain. I must admit i put my 2 penneth in by saying what if it was your kid, would you keep quiet, her response was no. Sounds like one set of rules for the parents and another set for the staff. Take it all the way stressed parent, not just for wallands but for every other school in the country and every child thats a victim. (you have my total support if needed). To many teenagers taking their life due to bullying, if this saves one kid then it's worth all the effort.
