Another Europe is possible.VOTE IN..A new movement is forming with a simple message: ‘Stay in Europe to change Europe.’
On 23rd June, Britain will vote on whether or not to leave the EU. It’s going to be close, and radical and progressive voices may well decide the outcome. We need to act – not just to win the referendum, but to fight for the Europe we need.
Join Yanis Varoufakis, Caroline Lucas, Muzna Al-Naib, Katia Widlak, Amelia Womack, Asad Rehman, Anthony Barnett, John McDonnell, Owen Jones, Michael Mansfield and a host of other campaigners to discuss and debate the ideas we need to win.Saturday, 28 May 2016 from 11:00 to 17:00 (BST) - Add to CalendarUCL Institute of Education (IOE) - 20 Bedford Way, London, WC1H 0AL -

Another Tory party is possible. So if all progressives and radicals join it... See, just as absurd. You don't change a neo-liberal project that is the creature of big business by staying in, you leave it.

Even Cliffords fellow ersatz Marxist poseur Paul Mason ,( who talks much the same crap but better ), advised that to leave now would be a mandate for a sharp swing right .Boris Johnson and Michael Gove would insist that article 50 was invoked immediately and mount a challenge to Cameron’s leadership
Such a thing is pretty simple in the Conservative Party and with Corbyn and his superannuated student polticos forming the nominal opposition and every single piece of Labour protection d0one away with ( better still Scotland gone) the landscape could change as Scotland`s has done .
In fact outside the single market I can`t see that any other strategy is viable and its not new , look at Ireland , despite their travails the average standard opf living is still better than ours .
The EU is an attempt to moderate the market whilst using it but it has always had a centre of gravity to the left of the UK. That why it needs sensible advocates of free trade and the market and crtics of an over mighty state within it .There is a place for scepticism in the EU on both the left and the right

I'd have more respect for VOTE IN/Captain Pragmatic if the had the decency to post under the same user name, instead of pretending to be lots of different people. That smacks of desperation.

VOTE IN calls me an 'Anarchist', while under his other identity of PN he calls me a 'Marxist'. I can't be both so perhaps he should make his mind up.

@Clifford I'm pretty sure that VOTE IN and Paul Newman aren't the same person, even if their views are cut from the same corporate cloth.

Cfifford, That statement you made earlier about leaving is about the best thing I have read on this subject! Simply put and cuttingly true. Keep it up!
