The depot mesed up our food ordet this afternoon but kindly gave us our drinks for free and threw in lots of sweets for our film! Thank you!

It seems that an awful lot of great cinema experiences are being spoilt by the Depots cack-handed catering. Why not fire the cretin in charge of the food side of things and start again with professional staff. It cant be rocket science, after all, just a need for good management and well trained staff

I believe they have done just that. They have a new catering manager and have revamped the gills as well as allowing anyone to sit anywhere and order from waiting staff - is no more queuing at the bar in confusion
To me it seems like they have listened and addressed a situation. Mistakes will always happen and the OP seemed happy with the way they dealt with it
All positive developments surely?

Gills = tills. Obviously.

Why do people need food and drink to watch a film?

It's better, but there still aren't enough serving staff and you can sit at a table for ages before anyone gives you a menu. The food's good, the cinema's great, so they just need more staff at peak times.

Very glad to hear that the original buffoon has been dispatched to wreak mayhem elsewhere. Who appointed him? As for the need for more staff at peak times - once again, its not rocket science...

A fortnight ago we ordered food through the waitress service you mentioned. After we had eaten nobody came to ask us to pay, and we could in fact have walked off without paying. In the end we had to go the the bar to pay so in my opinion it might have been better if we had queued, ordered and paid as usual. If they gave us numbered signs as most cafes do we could still have sat anywhere.
Still needs more thought.

It sounds too close to the Nevill to be Leicester Road or the Pells, but it's very loud! more
If you lend someone £20 and don't see them again it was probably worth it.
