I was told that a woman hit a man on a moped but didn't notice, and then carried on driving with him still under her car. Apparently he did get up afterwards thankfully, and he has been taken to hospital.

As the father of the scooter rider, i wish i knew who this zero cool is, how dare you make such a comment??? For your information my son was indicating right to go up east street, when a woman driver ran straight into him, when she should have given way, my son was then dregged 20 feet down the road, before this driver decides to stop, he is very lucky to be alive. People like Zero make me sick.

Gaz101 sorry to hear about your son and wish him a speedy rcovery.
Sitting on the fence and seing the post I think zero cool was more having a dig at the traffic wardens than your son
In this day and age people send jokes all the time I had loads when Richard hammond has his accident, space shuttel blowing up etc some very funny but I doubt his wife and two kids found it the same funny ha ha.
But when its your own kids I'd want to do the same as you and knock his head off.
when people post jokes on here about things like this you are going to get a reaction from relatives and friends.
remeber this is a local forum. people think before you post just imagine it's your son lying in a ambulance.
Get well soon son of gaz101

Good on you Zero. Im sure we all wish the young lad a full and speedy recovery.
As a 2 wheeler myself and no spring chicken either in general todays awareness of motorcyclists is abysmal. Its not just youngsters either. I even had one doddery prat smile at me as he pulled out in front of me, angled over on a roundabout!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can only hope he lost his teeth through the extended gob I saw.
I appreciate there are inconsiderate motorcyclists about too so its not just one sided.
At the end of the day the motorcyclist is by own choice really, always the more vulnerable.
