Have just witnessed the most appalling behaviour, a group of Priory school pupils in the precinct behaving in the most incredulous manner. Throwing rizla papers and abuse with gay abandon. It was absolutely disgusting, I can only feel sorry for the teachers and other children who have to tolerate these horrible pubescent creatures.

Sacre Bleu - they waste my papiers ? When I was @ Priory we were out buying Rookies and letting them off on the campus - with delayed fuses. One guy had a short fused one he'd put in a cowpat and it covered him with poo. He didn't care, just washed his face+ hands and sat in class all afternoon covered in S***. Happy days, and then there was The 5th. itself.

Rizla throwing? Sounds like a decent alternative to the Pea throwing champs.
Maybe hold it outside the Lannie and see who can reach the bogs.
Winner skins up.

Yes, I saw them as well - shouting and swearing, throwing litter around. They seemed to be very charged up - probably just scored some speed from the toilets near the station...

In my days as a kid when you misbehaved you would get a crack around the head. Now the only crack the kids are getting is the stuff that is being sold from the toilets at the rail station.

That's an embarrassing admission not a badge of honour. Five generations, all as narrow minded and cloistered as the last. No sense of adventure in your genes then!

My god you are obviously quite a nasty excuse for a human. What a totally stupid assumption based on two comments. Get a life! and stop being such a prat.

Whilst annoying for others and quite unpleasant this behaviour is pretty normal for teenagers. They are on the whole pretty selfish, thoughtless and self absorbed. It is possible to confront them and make them feel pretty small on occasion but it may not work depending on how, cool they think they look abusing you. You're very best weapon is the fact they are wearing a uniform. I would take a few photographs and send them via e mail to th school. The heavy weight of the senior leadership team will come down upon then since no school likes to think they are being represented like this. You may even get an apology. If you want to take it further as a customer you can ask that certain shops don't serve them food and drink which encourages them to hang around and behave in an antisocial manner. Shops don't want to,lose you as a customer so will probably go along with that.
Alternatively you can just roll your eyes as you walk past and make disparaging comments under your breath which is what I do.

Although I agree with most of your comments. Please do not tar all teenagers with the same brush, being the mother of two of them (both brought up to treat everyone as you would expect to be treated) I get increasingly infuriated with the attitude of senior citizens towards them. My children would go out of their way to be respectful to their elders, the same cannot be said for quite a contingency of older people, who often look at teenagers with disdain and pre-judgement . No thank you's when doors are held open and such like. Please lets judge all as individuals.
