I had just left tescoo in lewes on 28th July ( last monday ) about 9.30pm. It was starting to rain and the thunderstorms where just begining. Having walked out of the doors of tescos into the car park, i looked up and in the sky beyond golf course there was a grouping of lights, (about 10 of them) hovering, and moving slowley eastwards along the downs. They where yellowy oarnge in colour and very bright.
Did Anybody else see them. As i have never seen anything like it before, and it has intreeged me.
I know that a few months ago a similar sighting was spotted around uckfield and they turned out to be chineese lantans. But i cant see people lighting these in the rain.
So anyone??????

Sorry Jason, that was rude of me. I think it must have been Chinese Lanterns again. Even in the rain, they would still rise.

I think that if there were other life forms out there, we would have known by now but then how do you explain the wierd lines in Peru? However, I can't believe that we are the only life form in our Galaxy, let alone the Universe. So I guess that it does make me a believer

Talking of big lady's - what about that Sikh girl who won her battle to wear a bangle to school - she's huge! She looks way too big to be at school. I certainly would not ask her to remove he bangle, or knuckle dusters!

Yes juju.
I didn't see the Sikh girl but I don't see why they tried to make her not wear it. Was it a huge thing? The bangle?

Not sure that chinese lanterns would work when wet. This would make them much heavier to lift with just a bit of hot air, and also they are only made of tissue paper so would probably fall apart when wet ? Just my thoughts, not that I am saying it was aliens or anything !!
