Smiler...think it's a tenner for adults.
It's one of the most important games because if Lewes win this game (it's a game in hand tonight), they will then only have to match Eastbournes result on saturday to be promoted into the Conference....and that's with the big boys, plus the prospect of a local derby with Crawley.
The down side is that admission prices will go up (£13 minimum set by the football league i do believe) and you won't be allowed to drink Harveys during the game or on the terraces....in otherwords, it looses a bit of that "local club feeling". Many of the players will have the option of turning profesional too.

The Conference is predominantly a professional league.
There are some big teams in that league and some big journeys. Ex-League teams like Halifax, Exeter, Oxford United, Torquay, York are there. They will of course bring bigger numbers of supporters with them to Lewes.
It's quite a daunting prospect for little ol' Lewes from the Pan!
The Conference also has live TV coverage on Setanta. Live TV footie from the Pan? Whoever would have thought it possible?

I've just got back and it was great! 'we' even won.
I think I can call 'us' 'we' now that I'm a true Rooks fan.
I still don't understand the points thingy with Eastbourne though. If we are 4 points ahead now how can Eastbourne catch us if they only have one game to play? (or have they got 2?)
Where's the Doncaster game being played?
Come on you Roo-ooks!

Another convert seen the light!
Eastbourne have 2 to play which is a maximum of 6 points.
Lewes are 4 points ahead and still have 3 to play. So 3 more points for Lewes against DORCHESTER at the Pan on Saturday will seal the silverware for Lewes a week and two games early.

Looking at the league table Dorchester are rubbish so it should be a goal fest on Saturday.
Perfect fair weather supporters match I'd say.
...and Harveys, what more could you want

There are a couple of coaches going to Hampton & Richmond next Tuesday night for the penultimate game of the season. If anyone fancies an exciting evening out places can be reserved on the Lewes FC forum.
