How about renaming this forum the Tom Pain forum? Every thread turns out to be about him or he just turns the subject of any thread into whatever nonsense suddenly pops into his head anyway. We could then start a new forum without Tom in which everyone else talks about everything else. Some of the sensible posters with something to say might return to it then, confident that the thread isn't going to follow its normal trajectory. Or could there be some way in which Tom's posts get automatically redirected to the symes site?

Fair enough, let's get into proper forum speak and be in the real world, not some nutcase nonsense. Should I offer gratuitous ad hominems, blatant insults and sly innuendos which seem to be the main currency, or put a few plain facts in? Perhaps I could mention a real life study by the Maccabi Health Services of Tel Aviv which found that natural immunity from a previous infection of covid provides much better protection than vaccination. It would probably infuriate the sane, conservative real worlders, but so be it. Anyway it found that the vaccinated were 6-13 times more infected than those with natural immunity, 27 times more likely to have a symptomatic case and 8times more likely to be hospitalised. How's that Nev? Next time I'll put in some derogatory remarks about you and keep up the forum standard.

I suspect Tom keeps this forum going because he wouldn't want to say those things on Lewes Present under a real identity. So he uses this forum as an outlet for his alter ego.
I don't blame him but I'm just not very interested in his scoops.

Just read your latest contribution to the bonfire debate Tom. This isn't a snake pit and it is more of a convention than a rule but trying to stick to the subject would be a rule in my book. As Your contribution was about yourself, I would suggest that you put it on a thread which is about you ie this one or you could have added it to the new thread on the subject that idm has started. I'm assuming that you are saying that being called a deluded nutcase is psychologically damaging. Even further proof of your delusion I'm afraid. Also, who is 'you know who' who is likely to want to hit you? As an aside, you may insist that you have not run a shop but as I regularly bought things from you there, I would classify it as a shop. I will not say more as I don't want to out you and we know your name is not Wally T.
I don't really want to boost your ego by coming on here and talking about you but I have. I shall have to check all the threads to find where your response is.

Wrong assumption, I gave my reason and you don't understand it. To say to someone- " You are going to catch Covid" is extremely negative and not to rebut it immediately is asking for trouble,ok. Anyway I was speaking to idm.

Nobody is certain to catch covid, but it does appear to be with us now for good, and given how contagious it has been and new variants have become, it seems rather unlikely that an unvaccinated person in particular would be able to avoid it forever.

As for the tone of that persons message towards TP, and their certainty over him catching it - perhaps it did seem a bit negative. However, a virus doesn't spend its day listening out for human negativity and then prey on that emotion. The best way you can avoid getting covid entirely isn't "positive mental attitude", but instead perhaps moving to New Zealand. Since getting a vaccine and wearing masks are not an option for you, and even I would agree they're not 100% in preventing it, the choice is a remote distant country/island or perhaps seeking a ride on one of Elon or Bezos rockets. Not sure the virus has reached outer space yet.

Tom. How can you be threatened by my assumption that you are likely to catch Covid at some point? I am fully vaccinated but am also expecting at some point in my life to get Covid. The virus will be endemic like colds, flu etc. The vaccine makes the symptoms less severe and reducing hospitalisations.

Woman in Whitecoat, perhaps you could prescribe Tom Pain with some horse de-wormer (Ivermectin), just in case you have cursed him into getting covid.

Exactly, greeny. As Owl Overlord of the Esoteric Woodcraft Folk I have a working relationship with the occult and a fair understanding of these matters. The Wealden White Witches coven are very active in these parts and I'm very suspicious about the scantily clad nocturnal filmer in the town. Although I do find it odd that the witness is unable to determine the sex of this reprobate, the clothing can't be very scanty can it? I don't think I need to flee these environs too soon because I'm sure I must have been exposed to the virus by now and must be immune like the 98% of the population who haven't succumbed. These sars viruses have been around for some time and people have adapted to them despite the predatory capitalists behind the pharmaceutical concern's diligent efforts to line their swollen pockets. I'm just reading " The Pseudopandemic" by Iain Davis and thinking of the convulsions our staid forumites would suffer if they were exposed to it, it wouldn't be just their sleeves that turned green. The bit about sources of funding for "fact" checking sites is rather juicy, though not unexpected. However I must now organise my familiars to check out the nocturnal phenomenon that haunts our streets.

"Pseudopandemic" - oh sweet jesus. You really did take the red pill....and I don't mean the equine de-worming tablets.

One moment you're psychologically assaulted and spooked by the covid hex cast on you by another forum member, the next you're downplaying it or advocating a book about questioning even the very existence of the virus. Can't make up your mind, huh?

No Mr Fake comment, as you well know, I'm not suggesting that the virus does not exist. The virus exists! To the best of my knowledge it exists and if any specious dissembler suggests otherwise his intention is only to deceive, presumably to cover having nothing of relevance to say. Drawing together opinions of many medical experts who, for some reason are censored by the information cartel, I am curious as to why a normal flu season is presented as some diabolical plague. Why have deaths from serious comorbidities been lumped together with Covid to exaggerate it's seriousness? That's all I want to know and why you wish to demonise this in such a malicious fashion is beyond me.

To believe in this would be to believe that we have a LOT of crisis actors happening in UK hospitals, as well as others across the world. Do we have this issue with respirators every "flu season"? The scale of a cover-up would be so large, that it would fall apart within weeks, not 18 months.

This new wave of infections is once again leading to hospitalisations across all age groups, and particularly disproportionately among the unvaccinated. You may need to try and get your head round the possibility that this is actually a dangerous virus that goes well beyond flu or some neat con-trick for pharmaceutical companies to cash in.

My eldrich assistants inform me of the reason for your horse worming canard- it's in the media! Propagandists have no shame. Did you know that animals are treated with antibiotics? Have you never used them? You really scrape the barrel in your weasley way, such is your desperation to justify your genefluction to Authority. Animals are used to test drugs before they are used on humans and it might benefit you to ferret out the results of previous tests on gene therapies used for respiratory diseases. It's odd how the lower age groups were unaffected by the plague before the almost-mandatory therapy was introduced. What does that suggest to your independent critical thinking facility?

Don't be foolish. I know full well that ivermectin is also used to treat ringworm and parasites in humans - and my post in the other thread explains further on this (when they're not being prescribed by doctors for covid, people are just getting hold of them horse/sheep "versions/doses" of the drug - which even you can agree is problematic).

Keep calling it "the plague" - you are clearly not an unbiased "critical thinker" with your loaded questions - i may have chosen my side on this matter, but you clearly have as well. All age groups are affected by covid to a certain degree, but with more of the vaccines in the older age groups, it stands to reason that the wide gap that previously occurred is not so wide anymore. The vaccines are working as its protecting the age group that covid impacted the most before.

Sounds like you've taken a side to me, especially when naming a broadly respected scientist and immunologist like Fauci as a "gremlin". You do seem to utilise similar language to much of the far right on this issue. I guess for once they could be actually correct on an issue, but they haven't been before and have profoundly been on the wrong side of history most of the time. If I ever heard myself agreeing with MAGA types, I'd seriously question that position more thoroughly...

You should read what Kary Mullis, PCR test inventor had to say about Fauchi and Malone, leading pioneer of mRNA therapies, coincidentally, just recently. Charlatan, con man, you name it. With that insight into his character on board consider the 'rona farrago with different eyes.... even your right one.

I never heard of kary mullis till you mentioned his name. He died in 2019 (pre covid)...so not THAT recently. I read they had a falling out, and that mullis didnt believe in man made climate change or that HIV caused AIDs. I can see why he appeals to specifically you but not sure we can rely on the thoughts of a dead person who wasnt even around for the first covid19 death, let alone the 4 millionth.

I dunno TP, it doesnt take much to find serious flaws and credibility cracks in your arguments....but it does take an extremely "open" mind to follow claims of such types. I appreciate his use of acid in the 60s and 70s, but not sure that is a ringing endorsement either...

Dr Robert Malone, who led the team who invented mRNA vaccines at the Salk Institute in the late eighties is probably a better bet. He's a lot less controversial, at least until just recently when he advised halting the vaccine rush. He can't be called anti vax or anti mRNA vax can he? In a recent video he is very critical of Fauchi who is an extremely powerful administrator, controlling most of the US medical arena. He lied about funding gain of function (weaponising) work on 'rona viruses in China, first denying it then admitting it. He's got more conflicts of interest than he has patents on the 'rona, which is saying something. There's something very fishy going on if the inventor of the vax is blocked on you tube, talking about his invention. Don't forget, Mullis stated that his PCR test was not to be used for diagnosis because it could find anything you wanted if you ran enough cycles, which they have been. Why? On the question of my credibility, I don't claim any, I'm just quoting sources who are impeccable, who can know more about something than it's inventor?

Impeccable sources? We already established Mullis curious past. How about this robert malone chap? Banned from the tube? Yet he has been platformed by american shock jocks and far right wing commentators such as Glenn Beck, Tucker Carlson and Steve Bannon. Hes hardly been silenced when he has been given a platform that reaches millions of conservatives.

Here is an interesting write up about Malone which leads me to feel he isnt the most reliable of sources and has been exploited by the antivax, "plandemic" movement
