What is with the countless piles of poo all down the high street and Station street over the last week? One was inside the cardboard part of a toilet roll. Is someone staging a dirty protest?
Do the council clean poo up?

First response, blame the council. Then blame the police, the fire service, the NHS and everyone else.....except those who do the dirty deed in the first place.
Im beginning to despise the world we live in due to this blame culture

I was sat on a bus coming home to Lewes and a Woman got on with her dog and sat (slightly higher) in the seat behind me.
After a little while her dog was getting a little bored I guess and it started to sniff around the back of my neck & hair. It ended up giving my ear a slobbery lick.
I was startled but I didn't say anything due to the fact that I could hear the Woman lovingly reprimanding the dog saying 'ooh you silly rascle' etc..
Half an hour later and nearing home the dog got excited and was back giving my neck slobbery slobs and drooling all down my back.
It was at that point I might have exploded, but I didn't.
Its hardly worth it because I'd be wasting my breath.
I got off the bus and went home to have a bath..
Not everyone likes Dogs, I do in moderation. I just wish dog owners could show a little more respect to others and other peoples space?

Terrier's can Slobber too, you Old Cynic!
In answer to your question it was a midsize Mutt.
No need for me to get grip and I didn't say Lewes is a dirty town?
I think Lewes is really tidy & clean. I was only thinking that today whilst I waited for a Bus. How beautiful & clean Lewes is..
Its a shame there are a few old cynics knocking around though!

Hi Mad Jack, my dog ate my wallet last year. Did you find the scrunched note near a tree, by any chance?

No.. but couple of years ago a dog sneaked up to me when I was off guard and the little bleeder had a piss in my shopping bags!
I had just been shopping in Tesco after which I walked through the park and I decided to take a rest by the river and put my bags down. That was when the little f..... did the deed!
I later confronted the owner saying how I'd piss all over her for letting her dog do that. She looked at me as though I were mad and she was totally oblivious to any wrong doing on her dogs behalf, but she offered to replace my shopping which I (moodily) declined..
There got to be a moral to my story somewhere.. You can't turn your back even for a.... second!
Dogs Droolin an Slobberin an Pissin to their hearts content & the owners content too apparently.

I was walking down school hill a couple of weeks ago and saw a dog doing a massive dump on the pavement while it's owner was looking in the window of Steamer Trading. Someone nearer the lady told her that her dog had just fouled the pavement and would she mind picking it up to which the lady replied quite shirtily that it wasn't her dog that did it and started walking off. Another passer by mentioned it and got the same response then a guy leaning out an office window opposite shouted at the lady to clean up her dog mess and she still ignored it.

Maybe after the first person mentioned it you might be forgiven for believing that it wasn't your responsibility but by the time three people have pointed it out, surely to not pick it up is just being wilfully rude? Sadly, individuals like this give the vast majority of entirely responsible dog owners a really bad name.
