I can vouch for the Sunday Roast.
You really have to be there around 12.00,12.30 at the latest.
It's best to book really I suppose....£5.75 for a really lovely HUGE roast.Chicken or Lamb when I went around 12 weeks back.
Lovely roast potatoes, swede, carrots, broad beans peas and cabbage...Big yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy.Everything was piping hot.
And I couldn't finish it...
Don't know about any other meals during the week, but if the roast is anything to go by,you won't be disappointed.
And No,I don't work there.....

It's a great old-fashioned, street-corner local, utterly unspoilt. Proper grub and they look after their Harveys really well, what more can you want?

SHS - that's a coincidence. My mate went on to Madagascar for a holiday immediately after going to The Swann Inn. Small world.

I've found before that the best way to advertise a place is to post on Lewes Forum asking for information about it. As in, does anyone know if the Lewes DC planning department is as good as people say?
