Seafisher - you really ought to get out more - the Rainbow has been closed for about 6 weeks - where have all the miscreants gone though -its only a matter time before they show up elsewhere

The Rainbow is closed pending application for a new, later licence and a change of name to go with it.

The majority of the chavs have started drinking at the Crown instead with a few going to the Lamb and some back to the Volly.

The very presence of the Rainbow doesn't automatically lead to trouble, it's just the way it has been run recently, starting with the disasterous tenure of Moby Dick and Captain-Ffitch-Hayes Ahab, after Zel sold it on. Before that, when it still had two seperate bars it was one of the busiest pubs in town but only had one noise complaint in 8 months. Shutting down pubs doesn't stop trouble, putting in responsible landlords does.
