Film Buff, just so people know the site you're promoting links directly to illegally downloaded and copied files. for the ones still in the cinemas it'll mostly be camcorder jobs with people's heads in the way or Russian subtitles on the screen. Older ones may be illegally ripped and copied DVDs. So morally, the same as buying dodgy DVDs from car boot sales. The more people follow your lead, the less likely films like Telstar, or indeed any other independent films, will manage to get financed and made as their investors need to get their money back. Something that's hard enough at the best of times. Of course people can and will do what they want, but I just wanted to at least make it clear that watching films this way is another form of piracy, which hopefully some people might still be reluctant to support.

Fair enough Alex. Actually a friend rang me today about my post and told me the same thing.I was most indignant as I thought it was downloading that was the big No No,which I wouldn't do. But it appears these sites I use are just as bad...
Don't go there...

Cheers Film Buff. Didn't mean to come across all Wrath of Khan there, just a bit of a personal concern of mine, being in the biz. There's a whole generation of kids growing up thinking they shouldn't have to pay for anything they watch or listen to, and you don't need to be an MBA to wonder how that's sustainable.

I appreciate your concern Alex, but unless you advocate censoring the internet, then that's just the way it is. Someone will always put up something for free. Why they do this, who know. Maybe just to p1ss off people like you.

isn't it a rubbish flim anyway? If it's rubbish you should'nt have to pay for it. In fact if flims have an endorsement they've made their money, everything should be free and you only pay for a real item like a DVD with extra stuff.
Just a thought and I don't want to people to go out of work.

Windows, that's complete rubbish! Even if something is not very good (in your opinion) that does not give you the right to steal it, cos that's what illegal downloading is. Would you go into a DVD store and steal a DVD of a 'poor' film? Probably not because you might get caught..
Get real man!
