Does anyone know of a good non-scary, well as non-scary as one can be, understanding dentist in Lewes?

Duncan Brown was the gentleman who fitted the biill.
He has now retired.
Try his son Andrew Brown think he is still in North Street.

I wont tell you the name of the dentist in Lewes I went to in case of liable. However a friend introduced me and I went along for a check up. Seemed a nice man, hows your family Blah Blah Blah. He then got out a probe and said this might hurt a bit, next minute he gave me a kidney punch and rolled up laughing. Weird sense of humour, I wont go there again.

I use Seema Yousef at North Street Dental Practice. She's great and although going to the dentist doesn't bother me, I know others who go to her who say she's really good if you're nervous etc.
Actually, that reminds me I need to book an appointment...

St Annes very good, friendly staff, I had not been to the Dentist for 15 years (I know) and had my first visit not long ago, I felt very much at ease and only a tiny bit scared.

Very nice and not scary at all. His attractive young dental assistant is great for taking your mind away from any discomfort.

I am needle phobic and my dentist (over Monsoon) suggested I go to Kemptown to a special clinic for dental phobics.
It takes a few months mind as there is always a huge waiting list but I had 2 teeth taken out under 'conscious sedation'.Still involved a needle but in the back of the hand.
I woke up 2 teeth lighter but they are SO understanding as they deal with folk who don't like the dentist.
And it was under the NHS too.....

definately go to the one above monsoon (accessorize).
really calming- the receptionists are not agressive and do their best to help.
have heard them try really hard on the phone to help someone in pain that had not been before- think the dentist agreed to see them in lunch to help.
really good feel and trust them which is the most important i think.
