I see the Sussex Express' love-in with Lewes Lentilistas continues unabated with their latest bid for the gormless Green vote. PROTESTERS DENIED ACCESS! Screams this week's front page. St Annes Diggers attempts to access the land (they were recently evicted from) THWARTED! Marina Pepper and her merry handful of layabouts - presumably all on benefits (who else could turn up for a day of 'guerrilla gardening' on a weekday morning?) - behave like a bunch of spoilt 6 year olds, and the Sussex Express along with Lewes's Eco Establishment and daft Green councillors lap it up. "We need to tend our veg" the professional 'activists' cry (or was that veg-out on our weed?), as if planting a couple of radishes while illegally occupying someoneâ?Ts property somehow bestows them a legal right to perpetual access thereafter. I for one am bored sh**less by their antics, never mind the cost to the council (and taxpayer), money which should have been spent on the "vital front line services" that these very 'activists' are no doubt also protesting about cuts to. Thousands of pounds has been wasted on this tiny, but very vocal, bunch of idiots, in an eviction made extremely costly by St Annes Diggers (false) claims that they had people hiding in tunnels. And now more money is being spent dealing with their childish demands for public enquiries, and the on-going cost of security to prevent them re-squatting the St Annes site. Well, they reply, don't waste money on evicting us. Simply give in to all our demands, and then it wont cost you. Ah, the age-old argument of all bullies and protection rackets. Perhaps East Sussex County Council could put a swift end to this farce by spraying the site, and their precious vegetables with Roundup weed killer?

It'll soon be a criminal offence to squat. Reform the SPG and send them in!

Couldn't agree more with the first post, the leftie's hypocrisy is simply breathtaking. Don't even get me started on their tunnel tales (okay for them to lie, but no-one else eh?)
Weed-killer to good for them, national service is what they need.

Have you seen the front page of the local rag? A rag tag bunch of the unemployable, bored leftie housewives and the retired with nothing better to do - your flexible hours prove nothing, unless you wish to identify which one you are!
