Excellent result let's hope they stay there.
At this rate there'll be 1200 plus crowds by the end of the season. Even a small number like that will create more atmosphere than the fake fans at Brighton.

Very interesting how people on a town forum are petty enough to give a thumbs down to the town football club.

Well done Lewes FC keep it up.
Promotion would be wonderful for local football and the real fans of the club.

He probably would get fewer negative reactions if he didn't choose to make a sly dig in almost every post (football related or otherwise). It's like watching Trump's tweets, it's almost universally combative. I occasionally indulge, I must confess, but it's not a rule for me to behave that way and think it's actually more petty to post the way he does (Donald and Barr).

Oh, and when I post in that manner, I fully expect to be negatively voted. I certainly don't become all indignant about it. Take some personal responsibility for goodness sake, I thought that's what Tories are all about!

What does "fake fans" or "real fans" mean? Everyone is welcome at the dripping pan whether they are going for the first time or go every match. It's not for Hamid Barr or Hello to decide whether they are real or not. Most of the football is very good so far this season.

@Nevilleman - perhaps you should read what people write before being critical of them. I don't recall the posters you mention ever being critical of Lewes FC - quite the reverse in fact

@hello. Might I suggest you read my post. I asked what fake fans and real fans means. Why do you think I was being critical of you? Do you think you can decide if a fan is real or not?

And here was me thinking it was a reference to Brighton fans in comparison to the Lewes support.

Not at all. There is more uniting football fans than dividing them. Phrases like fake fans, fair weather fans and real fans are nonsense. People can be fans at any level they want. I can feel superior to a Manchester United fan who has never been to old Trafford but if they think they are a fan that's okay with me. It would be a mistake to think everyone at the dripping pan is a Lewes diehard. People are very welcome to come along to the odd match.
