I daresay everyone but me knew all about this but I was astonished to read about the Rodin connection to Lewes and not a little surprised at the gay history of the Town. The link is below to a Blog by John May who seems a highly interesting chap and , I assume ,is still pottering about Lewes ina General way. Indeed, John May is alive and well. Isn't this a perfectly wonderful town to discover and then keep rediscovering?

John May is certainly interesting to chat to. I often see him in the Lewes Arms. He is a mine of information.

Paul you do suprise me that you didn't know this stuff. John can often be found in baltica in the morning and the lewes arms in the evening. He wrote for Oz years ago and many other interesting and radical books.
Incase you didn't know Lewes is the place to live...but then we all knew that.
