I think the use of skateboards along by Tesco should be banned! Anyone else fed up with the sound of the wheels along the block paved section?

Really? You think skateboarders should be banned because you don't like the noise they make on block paviours?

Yes! You walk along the river, all nice and peaceful and get to tesco's and all you can hear is the noise of bloody skateboards.
Dangerous too with the amount of hoodie wearing kids zooming around. Surely there must have been a few accidents down there..
Only suggest the stretch from Tesco in town. It's to busy to have all them zooming about.

Surely you must want to ban bikes as well then?! Don't see the problem myself.

I hate the sound of dogs barking, can we ban them along there too please?

Can't stand the sound of people moaning about kids enjoying themselves. Surely the noise alerts you to their presence and that's why we haven't heard of any mass fatalities in the region.

Marked -1 for trolling.
open public space, well away from residential areas, surrounded by business and industry and a river. Dedicated skate/blade/scooter park nearby. Absolutely fine for skaters to go about their recreation. Likewise dogs scampering, children playing, birds singing, river babbling and other completely normal sounds.
Happy to hear less grumbling though.

I suppose the wind through the trees can, at times, be a bit irritating, and when the leaves fall in autumn the path can get quite slick at times.
Who's for chopping them down?

I think its great that kids are getting out and getting some exercise. Its just the underage drinking, smoking and blatant littering that should be of greater concern. Cheers - Matt

When I used to be a skateboarder in Lewes, there was no skate park. We had to go down County Mall car parks and ruin our white wheels on the red asphalt and avoid getting chased off by the security guards. Would have loved to have a dedicated skate park to enjoy. Although I would have cleaned up my litter

I always thought the Green Party had some cracking Fascist tendencies, deep down. You're just a town councillor, Kent, not the Old Bill. Littering might conceivably fall with your purview, underage drinking and smoking - unless you have direct evidence that a nuisance is being caused, perhaps - do not.
