What grey house are you on about. There are a load of very expensive houses (£800,000 region) at the entrance to Ringmer on the Lewes road as you enter from Lewes, but none of them are grey.
Why do you spell it 'gray'? Are you American, or another illiterate?

Ringmer pond has quite a few carp. They thrive there and quickly grow to large sizes, indeed too big for the pond, so periodically the bigger ones have to be relocated.
If you want fish and chips though they are not great. Better to visit the excellent Ringmer chippy.
