Rainbow Inn, Cooksbridge. Closing?

Anyone know what's happening to the Wheeler Marco Pierre White Rainbow Inn at Cooksbridge? Seems that both Marco's name and Wheelers has been removed from the signs. Is it closing? Is this because of the unfavourable reviews?

If so, can we have our pub back again? Is the lovely bar they ripped out still in existence?

Another refurbishment, I thought? Wish them luck for the changes, it was a lovely bar and the last incarnation was a bit too dark and contrived.

I hated the interior. I went there once and it was once too many. I never much liked the Rainbow restaurant before Marco Pierre White took it over but it was infinitely preferable to the Marco/Wheeler affair. I also think they should reinstate the bar back and return the south end to being a local pub. It used to be cozy.

Popped in there the other day to look at the menu. Apparently MPW has left and the place is to get it's bar back and the menu will be changing.
