''Continental Tyres'' on Railway Lane - no record of it on the Continental website. It's not legit. What do they do? What's going on? And just further up, next to the Riverside centre, a bunch of strange technology companies in an old building frequented by odd characters at strange hours. Not to mention on the other side of ''Continental Tyres'', the man who makes animal sculptures out of wood... It's a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma.

Dave,
It's owned by ASL Vision (www.asl-vision.co.uk) which is a subsidiary of continental tyres.
They do technology products, design etc. Creating local jobs - the type of quality jobs much needed in Lewes. Should be encouraged.

It's quite simple Dave. Continental AG, acquired ASL Vision in January 2013. ASL Vision was located in the 'old building' next to the Riverside Centre. Continental has since invested and expanded with employees, or 'odd characters' as you so kindly put it, now working in both the 'old building' next to the Riverside Centre and the old Pet Shop. Hardly a mystery wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma.

An actual company? Engaged in useful economic activity? In Lewes? Employing actual people who aren't on the minimum wage? It's witchcraft.

Someone needs to put a stop to this madness. Perhaps Wickle could buy them out.
