Oh brilliant - the town will be crawling with failed hippies. Will this festival co-incide with the launch of the Lewes pound?

So what is a failed hippy?

The town appears to be crawling with a narrow minded conservative middle class puritan, never mind dear, art and music in a town is a positive thing. stay at home if you feel like a killjoy.

Really kind of you to say so - we girls often ignore compliments!
Art and music are essential to life - I enjoy both but our tastes are all different. There is an accepted and recognised norm for both but sometimes people can create truely awful and/or offensive things using the guise of "art" or "music".

About art or music, that's very true, but this event could be brilliant. What in particular do you find is 'truly awful or offensive' on the art and music front.. and also what do you think is truly great?

Ha ha - I'm not going to be caught out.
My taste in music is notoriously poor (like my taste in men).
Bad taste art? I was not impressed by the handprint "art" that made an image of Moira Hindley - I consider that type of cheap stunt to be the same as the obnoxious Jade's behaviour (and resultant wealth) on Big Brother.
