I remember the days when the post arrived nice and early so anything important such as stuff needing to be sent back off with a signature or as such could be done on the same day. But recently the post has been arriving in the afternoon, today for example the post arrived at 1:35PM.
The way it seems to me is if you want something to arrive in the morning you now have to send it by the 24hr system so it arrives before 9pm costing you a pricely sum for just a letter.
