Pop up pub

If I were Harveys I would consider it an affront to be associated with a long termpub closure. ( I say this because I have seen no activity on refurbishment since January although all the garden seats have disappeared -maybe they are being refurbished?)

Think the sign is just there, due to the one the latest tenants had has been taken down and that was behind it - not sure why the new ones were taken down though.
Hopefully whatever is being done to the building is done quickly and back to being a village pub.

I happened to be walking past when the signs were coming down. The newer signs looked out of place on the pub and never suited the beautiful village. The old Harvey's sign was underneath the the newer version. I give my best wishes to those next planning to run the pub I'm sure they will make a success of it.

Btw cannot cut and paste but the whatpub site entry has a picture. It does not look like there was a tatty old sign beneath it and why paint out the Trevor arms on the front? Very odd.
