Hello devoted followers.
The Pete and Prue Western Club had two meetings, one on the Golf hill about 15 lads and lasses attended the second at the Chalk Pit with a mass of 300!
Snoops from the Lewes Education Office used binoculars to monitor the events and later I was ordered to make myself accountable., 'What if a boy and girl left the group on their own devices!!!'
Both they and the East Sussex Police applied pressure under some local law and advised us to 'shut it down'!
The kids were from toddlers to 12 year old's and non were harmed.
50 Membership cards were printed at our expense but I do not recall a fee being charged., Golly Holland still has his.... it might be worth a fortune eh!
Prudence got quite a kick out of one of the messages!!! I'll contact the paper and maybe they will display a recent photo of the lovely Lady with her current pistola?
Still have many vintage motor cars, horses and of course 'six shooters'.
Thank you all for your interest in these two 84 year old's
Pete and Prue.
