As far as im aware, and ive asked a lot of people, you don't need a permit for the ouse from Willeys bridge to Harveys Brewery.

It's changed now mullet mike....ive phoned the EA, NRA Lewes council and also asked in Percys and spoke to people on the bank fishing and no one wants to take responsibility for it !!!!....so, until signs go up or someone hears different, it's free fishing.
