Also noticed there were barely any small fish to be seen if any? No roach? I did notice a pair of cormorants hooving up the lake a year back ( deadly bloody things) anyways the fish numbers looked quality

Not sure if there's any tench or perch in there nowadays. trouble is, once the carp get in there, they do tend to take over and nothing else can compete for food with them.
I remember back in the 70's when there weren't many carp at all but some nice Bream and Roach in there. it would be nice to get it back to a decent eco system again.
