Live music comes to the Dripping Pan on Bank Holiday Monday in the shape of PANdemonium.

Mark Chadwick of the Levellers is due on stage around 5pm with support from the legendary Arthur Brown, Ska Toons, Contenders and four local Starfish bands.

There is a licensed bar with guest beers and food will be supplied by the Gourmet Game Company.

The event is from 3-10pm. Admission is £7.50 or £5 after 6pm, with kids under 14 free. Tickets are available from Laporte's restaurant (478817) in Landsdown Place or on the door.

The food was very good...underpriced infact but that just makes up for the fact the guy selling it came across as bit up his own backside. The music was okay but Mark whatever his name is made a 15-20 minute appearence (With an encore) which to my mind is a little short of what I call a performance. The other bands were really good, brilliant just what was asked for. The weather was crap - we froze to death. The most entertainment came from an arguement in the bar and the lack of fireworks was against the trade descriptions act if you ask me. Yes, I know it was for charity.
