Been several fish in recent years on excess of 30 lbs and big twenties are fairly common. Lure fishing or deadbaits both work but I think most of the bigger fish come to deadbaits.
If you do fish keep your eyes peeled for "visiting" anglers obviously fishing for the pot and usually without any licence or ticket.
