Be nice to know in September when the fireworks will be going off so we can shut the windows... its a joke with sleeping kids and animals at gone 11 at night with no warning.
Also who is regulating the kids at the skate park setting off bangers during the day... thought it was an offence to discharge fireworks in the street. Was clear as day by the dog walkers and people using the field/park at Malling the bangs came from the skate park by the smoke. You could probably hear it at the Police HQ too!!! Suspect it will be everyone else's fault when someone is injured. The skate park is a great facility, but the apathy in policing it in terms of fireworks, the constant stench of weed when you walk past and the river of litter scattering the field takes the mick given how much the youth apparently appreciate the place. What an absolute joke.... remember that taxpayers the next time you vote!!!!!!

This is a bonfire town. If you don't like fireworks, go live somewhere else, like Hemel Hempstead. I hear people there are sensible, dull and grey.

We better cancel Proms in the park then. Can't have loud music and fireworks spoiling my evening.
Maybe ban dogs as well as I don't like all the dog mess that get's left near kids play areas. They let them run around off the lead all over the place, barely watching them, scaring my little ones who come to play in peace. The damn barking I have to put up with round my place is ridiculous too.
Wish the police would leave those kids alone and make the adults behave responsibly.
Or we could all just chill out

Is that your response to the poor man that was injured at the raft race as well? There is irresponsible use of fireworks in lewes (I'm not saying this is anything to do with the societies) and it can't carry on this way
