I love swimming naked, and I would like to see if there is enough interest out there to have a naked day/evening once a month. No, not a swingers or cruising session, just a free to let it all hang out in the open air slot for us naturists. Who's game?

What a gruesome sight it would be
Why not restrict it to your own back garden where the only people you'll offend at most will be the neighbours (any anyone else who mistakenly takes a peek)

Old bloke, how can she swim in her garden pond? I'm sure LLL is stunning and the gruesomeness you describe is clearly transference, you sorry soul. I hope you're kind to your long suffering bathroom mirror and god forbid, any poor soul who may happen to live with you. Try to be a little more free my dear. Go into town with no y-fronts on under your farah slacks, it's utterly liberating and you'll have a sexxxssseeeey air about you. Who knows what might happen?
LLL, I'm game!

Old bloke. You'll only offend people if they crane their necks to look over the wall for a better look.
I'm game for it, as long as i can just sit at the side with a cushion on my lap !!!!

I used to swim at Barcombe, but it is too polluted now. The summer flow of the Ouse at Barcombe Mills is usually over 60% sewage effluent. None of the treatment 27 treatment works discharging their nutrient rich waste into the river employ effluent disinfection, which means that they can (and usually do) contain pathogenic bacteria and viruses. There are also a number of cattle drinks along the river and cow dung is a renowned source of E.coli. Campylobacter is recognised as being a serious problem by South East Water, a company that extracts water for potable supply at Barcombe Mills and they have installed ultra violet disinfection at the works to overcome the problem. The river is (apparently) better further downstream due to tidal flow, but I am not in the know regarding this.
This is a post about Pells- the setting up of a Naturist club/session at Pells. If we can get enough numbers I can put forward a proposal to them.

I can't think of anything worse than seeing lots of local people with no clothes on. I shall have nightmares tonight.

My initial response was that this sounds like great fun. However, what puts me off is doing this in a town like Lewes with such a close knit community. I also love a skinny dip, but I just don't like the idea of bumping into someone on the precinct who, the night before, has seen me in the nude, and I them.

Because if I strip off and jump in the river in some random place I'm likely to get arrested . Also if Victoria is any age under say 50 she might think I'm a fat old perv, if 50+ we're likely to do it for a bit of fun and not be embarrassed. So meeting in the pub is sensible.

I see Old Bloke is up to his old tricks of assuming everybody is like him. He really struggles to empathise or even understand someone else might not be us miserably ugly as he is.
Or is he one of the Christians who think God designed a disgusting and offensive human form.

Hi, I think we shouldn't be worried about locals. We all have same interest, so what to worry about.
