There'll be people from the Brighton Naked Bike Ride organizing group, naturists, and always a few local and not so local people giving it a try for the first time. It's nice to see families there as well (kids with a responsible adult can come free) but to be honest that doesn't happen much. The atmosphere's always good and no-one cares what anyone else looks like. If the weather's good people will picnic on the lawn and have a barbecue. The answer, simply, is that earlier in the day the pool is still open to the general public for regular swimming and a private hire (which is what the Dip is) can only begin from 7.30pm.
