Blimey, so they've made voting compulsory. I always go to the polling station to abstain in person ('None of them'). But I'm noy going if they try to make me.

I am very saddened by the news of Paul Gander's untimely demise. I have met him many times, as a fellow local tradesman. He built up a thriving local kitchen business over the years.
I don't know who the candidates are for the by-election; but everyone should study their views and go out to vote in the forthcoming local election. If you don't bother to vote, you cannot complain about the elected councillor.
