In Lewes plannng officers are threatening a resident, simply because she is making a legitimate political protest . I simply would not have believed that Officers could be this mad. What the hell do the Councillors think they are doing letting their Officersthis kind of thing go on. It is astonishing, disgusting, and malicious.

any proof of the mason's claims? Would be handy.
Not very good news for Charles Style, and his Israeli backers.

Fraid not mate....but it's so obvious that the town halls and council offices of the Uk are full of people doing dodgy deals and giving/receiving backhanders.
Are they not governed by anyone ?...or do they govern themselves ?...i would expect the whole system to "close ranks" if any complaint was ever made.

C'mon guys, you know the score by now. These people, just like those at Whitehall, are no longer doing these roles for the betterment of the nation or city or town. It is for their own personal development and gain only.

That could well be true, and would help to explain what is going on here.
One of my neighbours did make a successful complaint against LDC, so it is not completely hopeless. Corruption and Incompetence usually go hand in hand.
Bullying a resident in Lansdowne Place wasn't a very sensible decision. I wonder if Councillor Eiloart, who has contributed to this forum, supports LDC on this attack on one of his neighbours? If he doesn't reply, I think we can all pressume the answer is yes.

Well done to the designer.
Maybe it is time for us to review our council tax. What with the seemingly ineptness of the planning persons and the lack of Police visibilty about the town, what are OUR contributions going toward.

Does not suprise me at all as I have been threatened in various ways by an official of Lewes Town Council. Still trying to work out ways of complaining about this..

which department was it? The Council's own complaint system is completely self serving. I would suggest the relevant professional body, or raise the matter with Norman Baker. He needs to get a realistic picture of how rotten our Council is.

If I were to say it was one of the top officials rather than an actual councillor would you know who I meant? Having been threatened with various sanctions I am anxious not to go fully 'public' with the name of the person. I don't know what the complaints procedure is but I am sure that any complaint will be dealt with by the actual official I would be complaining about!
I wish I could take it further without damaging my own interests - so if anybody has a suggestion..

If it is John Crawford, or Lindsey Frost then join the club. Dodgy letters, and e-mails were found by one resident, about their neighbour!
