It wasn't shut off, it was open to all except oversized motorised polluting armchairs controlled by angry entitled muppets who freak out if the slightest minor inconvenience interrupts their often unnecessary journey.
Regardless of whether you thought LL was better or worse than last year or even a load of arty twaddle, it was still delightful to experience the town without traffic but with a different atmosphere to bonfire.

There are a small band of philistines which congregate on the Lewes Forum, especially someone who needs to see a counsellor about the hold her mother has over her. Lewes Light is an interesting and exciting thing for lots of people to be involved with, and makes a small town a special place which can embrace some up to date thinking and activities.

Jojo and Randy, your attitude unravels any points you make. Snide, sarcastic and superior comments never help any argument. Seems you just can't help yourselves. I do wonder who made the decision to close the road and what if any consultation was made.

How exactly are my comments snide and sarcastic? If the mother of Dawn in fact became ill, the ambulance service would have no trouble at all in getting through to her. Is one persons problem the reason to stop a happening that many people find interesting and exciting? Is this because this Forum is full of people who fall about laughing at what they perceive is very clever?

I enjoy a Monday morning rant, saves my family having to endure it. I use the forum as a tool for amygdala maintenance.
I've got a car too and I'm criticising myself as much as anyone else, don't take it personally, it's only Lewes forum. Peaceful felicitations to all xx
