Does anyone know what groups for parents and children are still running in Lewes? Is there anything for those who are only soon to be with child?

Not quite sure what you mean . There are toddler groups which you can go to with a baby . If you are expecting ask your health visitor about ante natal classes / groups or look up the popular NCT which holds lots of events and get togethers .

I guess I'm asking specifically which toddler groups now exist and whether there is anything like the NCT's "bumps and babies" group which catered for both parents and those expecting. Does the Lewes branch of the NCT even still run?

There is a toddler group on Tues monings in the church hall across the road from Waitrose . On Friday mornings there is one in All Saints , Friars Walk and one in Kings Church opposite Homebase . Its best to call in at all of them on the designated morning . All so ask your health visitor or look at the notice board in the childrens section at the library .

Hi I run 'Blokes and babies' with Lewes NCT. It is from 10am onwards every Saturday morning either upstairs at the Elephant and Castle or Snowdrop. It is for dads plus 0 - 5ish children.
Text me on 07981528960 and I will let you the next venue.

hello unfortunately due to the Children's Centre having their funding pulled there are no longer any free groups in Lewes. I would recommend baby sensory class which is held at Kings Church, good for baby and socialising, there are various swimming options in Lewes and across the county. there is little tinklers music but last time I went it was for toddlers only. there is story time at the Library but again think this is for older babies. I would also recommend going to your postnatal group which you should be invited to and normally at Lewes Victoria hospital, again a good way of meeting other mums with newborns. there is a lack of baby groups in Lewes unfortunately and especially any that don't cost.oh and Kings Tots has a year waiting list, madness I know.

Hey I have an 18 week old & live in Lewes, but don't drive, so wanting to find something here. Just tea cake & chats with mum's & babies. Allot don't exist anymore Daisy gas gone from Lewes now, which was great. The one at the Lewes children's centre has stopped, as well as the one at the church opposite Waitrose (venue available for bookings though if there are enough mummy/daddy's & babies).
Cant see rhymetime on the calendar at the Lewes library anymore either... . The baby sensory is actually in Laughton, so miles away to walk or bus if you don't drive. Tempted to start my own group, just meeting for tea/coffee cake & chats with newborns & babies either in pubs or cafes in Lewes, nothing hippy dippy, just a good way to get people out of the house, vent, swap stories and advice & have a good giggle. Like a knitting circle only you bring your baby instead of wool.
That's if I can get any takers..... Feel free to email me.

Hello, I was finding it tough to find everything too, so I made a list of them on a blog. I hope it's helpful!
