I appealed this as I had bought a ticket to park and believed this was a pay and display parking area. The company's response was that I had parked on a "BCR" Bay for permit holders only. How was I to know? This is very sneaky and deceptive. Not sure if I should ignore this or appeal further or pay the fine.

To the OP, not sure if the PPC are members of the BPA ot IPC. Did you get a POPLA code with your rejection? If they are BPA members, it is worth appealing, if IPC and the infamous kangeroo court the IAS, ignore.
