I work for a TV production company called Outline Productions. We're currently working on a new prime time programme for BBC One. It’s a great show which explores bad driving habits and could help towards improved road safety. We’re casting for people who have bad driving habits and offering unique and expert training to become model motorists. We are looking for people to nominate their friends, family or colleagues, in fact anyone they know – if you’re worried every time they get behind the wheel! This could be a great opportunity to give some great road safety training to someone you care about.
People get frustrated every day about bad drivers on the road and it would be great if there is something we can do to help make the roads a safer place.
If interested people can email [email protected] or they can call 0207 424 7676 or you can email Farrah at [email protected] and she can send you a poster.
For updates about the programme you can follow Farrah on twitter.com/FarrahSolim or facebook.com/farrah.solim.7.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions, please let me know if this is something you might be able to help out with.

Hi James, perhaps you could interview drivers coming down Cliffe High Street when they've no right to, who go too fast, and don't stop at the junction of Morris Road, where there is an accident soon to happen. But that won't happen, will it?

The Tesco roundabout? The ultimate roundabout in Lewes for numpty drivers has got to be the Cuilfail roundabout. 99% of all drivers coming down from Malling are incapable of staying in the correct lane, and consistently cut up anyone on their left and anyone trying to come out of the tunnel into, what should be, an empty lane.

Ooops, pressed before I wanted to add that it may not be an empty lane, as not every driver in that left hand lane may want to go left into the tunnel - there is nothing to stop them going for the second exit, ie straight ahead.

Maybe track down one of the vans used by the people working up scaffolding near the parking shop who pulled out about half a metre in front of me by the bus station this morning or the driver of a silver BMW who jumped the lights by Boots, nearly killing a pedestrian. I swear the rain brings out the worst drivers.

Travelling back towards Lewes from Polegate today, on the busy A27, I noticed a small queue eastbound just east of middle farm. Drivers were taking turns to go round a small piece of plastic pipe laying in the road. Not one of them could be bothered to unglue their arse from the seat and remove it from the road.
They all get my nomination for bad driver of the day. I spotted it too late; or I would have stopped and removed it to the verge.

Do we really need more from the tired "reality" format? We're already subjected to a constant stream of staged and scripted (badly) freak shows. How about putting some effort into your programming? We're really not as daft as you think.

Just sit at Tesco roundabout for a day and you'll find all the bad drivers you need. Alternatively, you can film the cretins who insist on driving down Cliffe High Street, despite it being a pedestrianised area with exceptions for access only.

explain how you get out of argos carpark then?
as you are allowed to go to argos for loading
when I have to I do travel at a low speed and give priority to pedestrians as it is sign posted behind forfars

Read my post more carefully, wanderer - the last five words.
Good to know you keep to the rules though, thank you.
But frankly even the loading argument doesn't hold much sway. Collections and deliveries can be restricted to certain times of day.

Well Mr Stratton, bet you weren't expecting that kind of response?! I wouldn't bother trying to gather support from the majority lewesians, they are giant skid mark on the undercrackers of society, who couldn't care less than anything other than themselves and organic shoes. Good luck on the tv programme.
