You can always tell when the system is in trouble and unemployment is going up - the smear stories about the unemployed start coming out.

It strikes me as a bit of bad timing to try and force people back to work when unemployment is on the up. Surely it would be better to leave the jobs that are available for people who really want them?

Getting a job won't kill you, those of us who have to work because we don't have a 12 year rest manage okay. I'm actually one of those who takes care of those kids all day, while mums can only manage the last hour and a half of most peoples working day.

Hang in there Single Mum. But for the chaps read on...
Well! Guess What? When I had baby #1 I un-covered the truth...
Looking after children at home all day when Partner is out at work is a DODDLE!
I mean, what kind of doss lazy jobs did my yummy mummies friends do before they had kids that was easier than wandering about a park, then having a chin-wag and a cuppa - oh and then dozing a couple of hours while the baby sleeps? You can put a load of washing on before the kettle has boiled. Hang it out when it's time for the next brew, and fold it away between adverts! GET A GRIP SISTERS!
Before I had my child, I had lots of colleagues who were far more difficult to deal with than any baby or toddler than I have ever known! And at work you don't get a break (babies sleep a lot by the way, chaps, more than your colleagues do)

Not a wind up at all. Just telling it how it is dossing away at home with kids while Partner works all day. I mean it. It's easiest thing I have ever done.

My hubby goes out to work all day. I stay at home with the kids. It is, as AParent says "A DODDLE"!
Before my maternity leave I used to actually do a proper job. It was hard work. Now I lead a life of leisure, fun, and socialising.
Face it Slummies, and own up to your other half that your life is easier than his!

Your are all ignorant Chavs.
To work 9-5 you need to pay for childcare from 8am-6pm. This costs more than some people earn in that day.
So what then do they use to buy food, pay council tax etc?
Then if kids are at school then try and find a job that lets you roll in at 10 and go home at 2.
I can only assume that most people who post on this site are BNP Members. Lay off single mums you plebs.
