I'd purchase and flatten the ugly developments that have been built in recent years and return Lewes to it's former glory

I'd buy Lewes DC's planning committee if someone hadn't already beaten me to it.

I'd like to buy that house up on the hillside opposite the Esso garage. I went to school with a kid whose parents owned it back when I was 6 and went up there a few times. It's an awesome house (Well it was then anyway) and manages to be both remote and central at the same time.
Failing that, I'd quite like to live up in Cuilfail, there's some nice houses there and if I'd won the lottery I could afford to get a taxi up the hill. The first thing I'd do though would be to head off on an extended holiday to give me some time to think about what I was going to spend all my money on!

That house has always fascinated our family. It looks so eerie! I am sure it only appears that way. Imagine having won the lottery and having more than you need? I would love to be able, if I so wished to, to see or hear of a genuine need and just quietly pay it. The quietly, satisfying feeling would be wonderful.

The guy I knew was called Ben Collet or something like that and had either an American or Canadian accent (I couldn't tell the difference back then) and I would have been 5 in 1984 so early to mid eighties. I think they had an old Saab that was parked at the bottom but that could have been subsequent owners. I've wanted to live there pretty much since I was a kid.

I'd buy county hall, blow it up, and have the whole site landscaped and turned into a park.
