Just interested to know if anyone has any news on whether the Crown Inn has been sold yet or not? I see that the place is closed, the windows are still broken and it doesn't look like anyone is still living there. Also noticed the that company TOSH Limited which was the landlady's company was dissolved in August 2016.

Nope, still up for sale. Great opportunity but it'll need a lot of work to bring it into condition to use, especially the rooms.

The freehold is up for sale and remains up for sale, the bar is closed but the hotel is still running albeit with long term guests. The leaseholder remains the leaseholder as at the current time.

Wetherspoons nearing a final deal. Building internals will be fully changed (if planning allows, hence the hold up in the deal being finalised).

If the leaseholder remains how has it been running for over 8 months without it been officially declaring income or running as a company? Why would anyone want to buy the freehold with sitting residents and leaseholder when the place has been run into the ground? Surely the new owners would have the spence to get rid of the leaseholder especially with the reputation she has and the residents, revamp the place and start from scratch? Just an observation, it doesn't make any sense what's so ever!!
