It's not Wyevale any more. It's Lewes Garden Centre. Paradise Park is cheaper though (well for coal and logs anyway)

I think it is still Wyevale, they've just dropped it out of the name. If you want a really good garden centre go to Hilliers in Stone Cross or up near Horsham. They really are a cut above the rest - though their prices tend to be as well!

Try Goldcliffe Nursery on the Uckfield Road. The staff there know and care about plants.

From April to July, try Stanmer nurseries at the top of Stanmer park in brighton. they are open all year during the working week but open weekends from the times stated. they have just lost one of the big greenhouses due to the weight of snow on it but they still hope to be selling as normal come april. Lots of gems to be found up there, loads of shrubs, herbacous and annuals.

Marchants Hardy Plants are great if you want erbaceous perennials or grasses - they don't do very much else. Definitely worth a visit though as in a lovely spot and they have a garden which shows off their plants to great effect.
