Hi All
Just moved into the area, not too far from the Pelham Arms. Can anyone recommend a GP surgery and dentist in the area?
Thanks in advance

St Annes Dental Practice is about 100 yards from the Pelham, opposite the church. I go there and they are very good. But I don't know if they are NHS if that is what you are looking for. I use St Andrews surgery too and they seem ok, although, touch wood, I haven't had to use their services too much in recent years.

Three GP practices in Lewes. All fine on the stats available, and providing you keep track of your children's immunisations yourself.

I can't recommend St Andrews highly enough - the best GP service I've ever had. During the last ten years they've done so much for me and my family.
I'm still looking for a decent dentist - they all seem to have plusses and minuses. I've discovered that if you go to an NHS one your teeth are fine but if you go private they need a lot of work.

I use the dentist above the kebab shop. They're very nice and in my experience the work is well done. Only downside is they keep trying to make me appointments with the private hygenist rather than just regular NHS checkups but it's easy enough to say no.

Do you not think that maybe just maybe you need the hygienist?

I use the dentist above monsoon.
Cannot say a bad word against them. Very friendly nice and relaxed and seems good quality. I see Steve explains it all well and seems honest enough
The doctors in school hill is also very good bit never really see the same gp that often.
I reccomend them both

I think St Andrews is the best GP practice. I'd avoid River Lodge like the plague.
I go to the dentist in North Street, but rarely need anything done (thankfully). At least you can park there.
